At the Mid-Winter Ball, the Regulators voted to recognize a new shooting category, Sod Buster. This class will allow new shooters to participate without the full range of firearms. Requirements would be 1 handgun, rifle in handgun caliber, SASS legal shotgun and, to maintain the atmosphere, appropriate dress. This class could also be shot by those with medical conditions which limit their abilities. The class will be scored separately. If you are interested in Cowboy Shooting and want to try it before you invest for all the firearms, this is a great way to get started.
