New Shooting Category
At the Mid-Winter Ball, the Regulators voted to recognize a new shooting category, Sod Buster. This class will allow new shooters to participate without the full range of firearms. Requirements would be 1 handgun, rifle in handgun caliber, SASS legal shotgun and, to maintain the atmosphere, appropriate dress. This class could also be shot by those with medical conditions which limit their abilities. The class will be scored separately. If you are interested in Cowboy Shooting and want to try it before you invest for all the firearms, this is a great way to get started.

September 25, 2010. HYD-A-DEL SHOOTING PRESERVE, BLAIN, PA. COST - FREE. MUST BE AT LEAST 12 YEARS OLD. MUST BE ELIBIBLE FOR JUNIOR HUNTING LICENSE. MUST HAVE COMPLETED HUNTER EDUCATION COURSE (PROOF REQUIRED). STOCKED BIRDS, GUIDE AND DOG PROVIDED. PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED. REGISTRATION LIMITED TO FIRST 60 YOUTH. TO REGISTER: CALL Sue or Mike Grogan at 834-3233. NO REGISTRATION ACCEPTED BEFORE SEPTEMBER 1, 2010. SPONSORED BY: PERRY COUNTY SPORTSMEN FOR YOUTH AND HYD-A-DEL SHOOTING PRESERVE. WE ARE ASKING EACH YOUTH TO BRING A NON-PERISHABLE ITEM THAT WILL BE DONATED TO THE PERRY COUNTY FOOD BANK.
